Trove is an app that provides personalized movie, TV show, and book recommendations. By using Trove, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Trove. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
You need an account to use Trove. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.
Movie and TV metadata is provided by TMDB and is subject to their terms. Book metadata is sourced from public APIs. Trove does not host or stream any media content.
Recommendations are generated by AI based on your taste profile. They are suggestions, not guarantees. Results may vary. We are not responsible for the accuracy or suitability of any recommendation.
Recommendations are not filtered by age rating or content advisories. Trove may suggest titles that contain mature themes, violence, or other content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Users (and parents or guardians of minors) are responsible for evaluating whether a recommended title is appropriate.
Trove displays metadata, descriptions, and images sourced from third-party services including TMDB. We do not control this content and are not responsible for its accuracy or appropriateness. Trove does not host, stream, or provide access to any media content.
Trove includes links to streaming services and retailers where you can watch or purchase titles. Some of these links are affiliate links, meaning Trove may earn a commission if you make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate Trove earns from qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay or the titles we recommend.
Trove is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on recommendations, exposure to third-party content, or service interruptions.
We do our best to keep the service running but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
You can delete your account from the Profile screen. This permanently removes all your data. We can also delete your account on request via email.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
